Terms & ConDitions
    • PHAT eBike Warranty Terms

At PHAT eBike, we take pride in the quality and durability of our products. To ensure customer satisfaction, we offer a one-year limited warranty covering specific components against defects in materials and workmanship.

    • Warranty Coverage

Should any original component prove defective due to workmanship within its warranty period, we will repair or replace it at our discretion. The warranty period for PHAT eBikes is as follows: • Motor: 1 year • Battery: 1 year

    • Exclusions

This warranty does not cover: • Normal wear and tear, including but not limited to brake pads, tires, and inner tubes. • Damage caused by improper assembly, accidents, neglect, misuse, abuse, or insufficient maintenance. • Damage due to unauthorized modifications, repairs, or alterations to the bike’s frame or components. • Issues arising from the installation of incompatible or non-original parts or accessories.

    • Coverage Details

      • The warranty covers replacement parts and transportation of the faulty part from the customer, as well as the shipment of the repaired or replacement part back to the customer. • If the customer is unable or unwilling to perform a repair, we will assist in arranging a repair at a local bike shop. We will cover reasonable labor and parts costs associated with the repair. • The warranty does not cover additional labor, transportation costs, or any other charges unless required by applicable consumer law.

    • Warranty Claim Procedure

To make a warranty claim, customers must: 1. Notify us of the issue, including a detailed description of the fault. 2. Provide proof of purchase. 3. Obtain written confirmation from PHAT eBike before taking the bike to a third-party shop for repairs. 4. If applicable, provide a repair quote from the bike shop for our approval. Failure to obtain written confirmation before proceeding with repairs may result in partial or full denial of reimbursement.

    • Voiding of Warranty

The warranty will be voided if the eBike is used in ways outside of normal conditions, including but not limited to: • Failure to follow the owner’s manual. • Use for commercial activities (e.g., delivery services) or competitive events (e.g., racing, stunt riding, BMX, or jumping).

    • Water Resistance

      • PHAT eBikes are water-resistant, not waterproof. They can withstand light rain but should not be submerged in water or ridden in heavy rain. • Washing the bike with a water hose or pressure washer is prohibited; only a damp cloth should be used for cleaning. • Liquid penetration damage is not covered under warranty.

    • Assembly and Adjustments

      • Some components, such as brakes and derailleurs, may require minor adjustments upon delivery due to movement during shipping. • Customers will be provided with instructions for making necessary adjustments. • Improper assembly or failure to adjust components correctly is not covered under warranty. • If customers choose to have a third-party technician (e.g., a bike shop) perform assembly or adjustments, costs incurred will not be reimbursed under the warranty.

    • Cosmetic Damage

      • In rare cases, minor scratches or paint imperfections may occur due to shipping. • PHAT eBike will provide a small paint sample to cover minor scratches. • Replacement requests based solely on cosmetic damage cannot be accepted.

    • Reimbursement Policy

If a product is found not to be defective due to faulty materials or workmanship, PHAT eBike reserves the right to seek reimbursement for any costs incurred, including shipping and labor.

    • Warranty Extension

      • Customers may purchase a warranty extension before the standard warranty period expires. • The extended warranty will follow the same terms and conditions as the original warranty.

    • Applicability & Proof of Purchase

      • These warranty terms apply to all customers purchasing PHAT eBike products directly, through dealers, third-party sellers, or second-hand. • A valid proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims. • If purchasing a second-hand eBike, the original proof of purchase should be obtained from the previous owner.

    • Limitation of Liability

PHAT eBike is not liable for: • Consequential, special, or incidental damages arising from the use of our products. • Damage caused by external factors, such as accidents, extreme weather conditions, water exposure, or neglect.

    • PhateBike Warranty Claims Policy

At Phat eBike, we are committed to ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for our customers. We understand that while our products are built for reliability, unexpected issues can arise. Whether you’re riding in the city or exploring off-road trails, a sudden failure can be frustrating, inconvenient, and sometimes even challenging to resolve. We acknowledge that troubleshooting or arranging repairs can take time and effort, and we appreciate your patience and cooperation throughout the process. The good news is that major electrical or mechanical faults under warranty are rare, occurring in less than 1% of cases. However, if an issue does arise, rest assured that our team will work swiftly to resolve it with minimal disruption to you. We ask for a positive and cooperative attitude from our customers to help us diagnose and fix issues as efficiently as possible. Working together ensures the best outcome and a quicker resolution.

    • How toMake a Warranty Claim

To initiate a warranty claim, please contact us directly via email or our website’s support ticket system. You will need to provide: • Proof of purchase (e.g., receipt or order confirmation). • A detailed description of the issue, including when and how it occurred. • Photos and/or videos of the problem if requested by our team. In some cases, we may ask you to perform basic troubleshooting steps to help identify the root cause of the issue. These steps may be slightly technical, but our support team will guide you through the process.

    • Assessment& Resolution Process

      • Our technical team will assess the claim and determine whether the fault is covered under warranty. • If the cause of the fault cannot be reasonably determined, we will favor the customer and bear the cost of repair or replacement. • In cases where standard troubleshooting does not resolve the issue (e.g., the bike won’t turn on and the cause is unknown), we may ask you to: • Send back the faulty part for inspection. • Swap and test replacement parts, such as the battery, motor, LCD, or controller. The faulty part must be returned before a replacement is provided. • Return the entire bike to our service center in rare cases where the issue cannot be resolved remotely. Packaging & Technical Knowledge • We strongly recommend keeping the original packaging for your eBike and accessories. This will make it easier to return items if necessary. • Some basic technical knowledge and tools may be required to complete certain troubleshooting steps. Our team will provide guidance and support to help you safely carry out these tasks. At Phat eBike, we are dedicated to resolving any warranty-related issues promptly and fairly. We appreciate your cooperation and patience, and we will always strive to find the best solution for you. For further assistance, please contact our customer support team.
